Job Details

Job Purpose:
Working in a dedicated Security team planning and executing the implementation of a range cyber security projects on Civica’s private and public cloud infrastructure.  Working specifically as a Network Engineer to understand new requirements as defined by Civica’s technology roadmap and which complement existing security processes and protocols. The Security Team forms part of Civica’s Technology Centre Projects Team.
Principal Accountabilities:
Taking ownership of or being an active participant in IT project delivery activities, including:
Investigation, Analysis & Planning of network related project activities
Maintain network installation plans and feedback regular progress reports to key stakeholders and Project Managers.
Alignment of solutions with Civica standard topologies and designs
Documenting, building and configuring of network hardware 
Test and release planning
Early Life Support and the transfer of documentation into Technology Centre Network Operations/Support teams
Facilitating continuous improvement through the review of existing cyber security processes, feeding back to internal groups and management
Ensuring all prerequisites are available for the successful and timely completion of scheduled tasks. 
Following approved procedures and security policies including Technology Centre change control procedures
Updating technical documentation and contributing knowledge transfer (generation and delivery of information into Civica’s knowledge management system)
Any other activities deemed reasonable by the Head of Networks/ Security Team Lead

Essential Competencies:
An excellent understanding of Cyber Security principles and best practices and proven track record of technical project delivery in this field
Excellent understanding of Networking (TCPIP, LAN, WAN, firewalling, VPN, WLAN)

Ensure all implemented solutions are backed up with documentation, training and expertise within the Service desk and Support areas

Good experience of Microsoft Azure infrastructure deployment
Experience of Asset Management systems
Experience of MFA and access control technologies
Experience of vulnerability patching automation and end user application control technologies
Ability to be creative in problem solving

Maintain progress on a number of projects and disciplines simultaneously

Escalate, where appropriate, any issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner

Promote confidence in Civica Technology Centre through providing excellent and informative support of cyber security network project delivery
Following approved procedures and security policies including Technology Centre change control procedures
Updating technical documentation and contributing to knowledge transfer (generation and delivery of information into Civica’s knowledge management system)
Provide knowledge transfer/technical training across teams as required
Relevant level of Security Clearance (correct phrasing TBA with India recruitment team)
Good general communication skills and in communicating technical concepts
Preferred Skills:
CCNP certification or higher
Current Cisco router, switch and security products 
Experience of network management and monitoring tools
Experience of F5 load-balancer products
Experience of working with high-security and high-availability solutions
Experience of PSTN, ISDN, SIP, VOIP and QoS/CoS
Experience of networking within VMWare, Microsoft and Linux platforms
Experience with dealing with third-party telco providers


Note : Candidate has to sign 2 years of Service Agreement & they should have Passport (Before joining they should have passport in hand)
